The following documents are in regard to the Special Board of Education Meeting on Monday, July 31, 2023 for the District Safety Plan Presentation and opening of the 30-day Public Comment period from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Hudson Senior High School Library. The District Safety Plan was developed as a requirement of New York State Project SAVE legislation. The plan serves as a framework and focuses on crisis intervention, emergency response and management. New York State Education Department regulations call for the plan to be adopted annually by the Board of Education. Thirty days prior to adoption, the District is required to make the plan available and hold at least one public hearing. A public hearing was held at the July 31, 2023 meeting of the Board of Education. The final safety plan for the 2023-24 school year is expected to be adopted at the August 29, 2023 Special Board of Education Meeting.
