11-1-23 Hold in Place Letter

Dear Hudson City School District Families and Staff,

At approximately 9:35 a.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, the Hudson Junior/Senior High School initiated a Hold-in-Place response for a medical issue involving a staff member.

A Hold-in-Place requires students to stay in their classrooms to keep the hallways clear so first responders can have access without interruption.

At approximately 9:43 a.m. the Hold-in-Place was lifted, and our regular schedule resumed. Please note that instruction was not interrupted during this time.

Additional information on emergency protocols can be found on the Hudson City School District’s website at this link: https://www.hudsoncsd.org/2023/09/21/2023-24-student-staff-district-emergency-information-guide/

As always, the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff members is our top priority. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Sincerely,

Dr. Juliette Pennyman

Superintendent of Schools

Hudson City School District
