Ms. Setera’s weekly occupational therapy group session with Mrs. McCagg’s Hudson Junior High School Life Skills students involved making leprechaun traps and decorating cookies for St. Patrick’s Day! After the class decorated cookies, students went right to work cleaning up after themselves by washing dishes, cleaning the tables and sweeping the floor. The class always takes a team approach for the clean-up portion of completing tasks!

This is a great skill for the students that Ms. Setera hopes they carry into their everyday lives. The group sessions Ms. Setera runs help expand life skills students are learning in class with an occupational therapy approach.

Way to go, Bluehawks!
