Congratulations to Hudson Senior High School seniors Kenneth Jackson and Salmi Jaman for being recently selected as the Hudson City School District recipients of the 2023-24 Alice & Murray Giddings Foundation, Inc. scholarship! The Foundation was founded in 1995 to acknowledge and foster young adults in Columbia County public schools who evidence high academic achievement, strong leadership qualities and involvement in service to their communities, and rewards them with merit-based scholarships.
The students were recognized at a county-wide luncheon and accompanied by Superintendent Dr. Juliette Pennyman, Hudson Senior High School guidance counselors Vernon (Rocky) Payne and Jeanine Patsko and writing skills specialist Omer Mufti and the Alice & Murray Giddings Foundation, Inc selection committee members.
