After learning that the Montgomery C. Smith Elementary School’s 5th grade field trip was canceled, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office stepped in to ensure the soon-to-be 6th graders would have a memorable end to their elementary school years by hosting a water balloon party on the baseball field!
Sheriff Donald Krapf was joined by his staff, as well as members of the Hudson City Police Department, led by Chief Mishanda Franklin, and Hudson Assistant District Attorney for Columbia County Carlyanne Cicero. The students cheered and clapped as the police arrived on the field in a tugged boat with lights and sirens! #HudsonTogetherWeCan!
