Congratulations to Team 2 (Nadia Sultana {not pictured}, Natasaja Dooling and Gabrielle Hodges) for winning first place in a cookie competition! Students in Mrs. Schmitt’s period 6 High School Food and Nutrition Class researched a cookie recipe, prepared, baked and then showcased their cookies to guest judges Mr. Reardon, Mr. Campbell, Mrs. Millar and Mrs. Abitabile. Four teams competed and were judged on their cookie’s taste, texture, and appearance.
Later, students had the opportunity to judge homemade cookies prepared by Mrs. Abitabile and Mr. McDonald.
