Hudson Junior High School Dance and Spanish teacher, Ms. Akinyemi, offered a class entitled “Afro Latino Dance and Creative Expression” as part of the Columbia County Youth Theatre After-School Workshop Series.
Students were accompanied by the drum playing of Ngounga Badila as they explored movements inspired by the rumba. Through improvisation, they created a dance piece which reflects the notion that gossip stirs up negative drama. #HudsonTogetherWeCan
