11_16_23 Alleged, Unsuccessful Kidnapping Attempt Letter.

Dear Hudson City School District Families and Staff,

This afternoon following dismissal, Hudson City School District administration were made aware of an alleged and unsuccessful kidnapping attempt of one of our students walking home from school. The Hudson City Police Department has confirmed that the student and their family are safe and that the incident is under active investigation.

We are incredibly grateful for the work of the Hudson City Police Department. Anyone with information into the situation is encouraged to call the police department at 518-828-3388.

As always, the health and safety of our school community are our top priorities. Additional patrols will be present at arrival and dismissal tomorrow, Nov. 17, 2023. Our school guidance counselors and psychologists will be available for any student who may be struggling with this incident.
