Dear Hudson City School District Families and Staff,
Today, an unannounced lockdown drill was planned by law enforcement and the Hudson City School District for both Montgomery C. Smith Elementary School and Hudson Junior/Senior High School.
The elementary school’s drill went into effect at approximately 9:52 a.m. and was cleared at approximately 10:10 a.m., while the Junior/Senior High School’s drill went into effect at approximately 10:23 a.m. and was cleared at approximately 10:42 a.m..
In attendance for the drill were members of the New York State Police, Hudson City Police Department and Hudson City School District security and facilities staff.
We are extremely proud of how well our scholars and staff handled the drill. As always, the health and safety of our school community remains our number one priority.
