In Mr. Hoolihan’s 8th grade AVID class last week, students practiced collaboration, problem solving and critical thinking skills while building Lifesaver go-karts. Each group was given a set number of Lifesavers, toothpicks, straws, tape and paper to construct a go-kart that would travel the farthest by wind power!
