Dec. 11 Hold-in-Place Hudson JSHS.docx
Dear Hudson Junior/Senior High School Families, Faculty and Staff
At approximately 12:40 p.m. today, Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, a Hold-in-Place was initiated at the Hudson Junior/Senior High School in response to a medical emergency involving a staff member inside the building.
A Hold-in-Place requires students to stay in their classrooms to keep the hallways clear so first responders can have access without interruption.
At approximately 12:58 p.m. the Hold-in-Place was lifted, and our regular schedule resumed. Please note that instruction was not interrupted during this time.
Additional information on emergency protocols can be found on the Hudson City School District’s website at this link: https://www.hudsoncsd.org/2023/09/21/2023-24-student-staff-district-emergency-information-guide/
As always, the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff is our top priority. Thank you for your support and understanding.
Sincerely,
Dr. Juliette Pennyman
Superintendent of Schools
Hudson City School District
