The Hudson Junior High School will be hosting a Black History Month celebration event on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024 for students. Mr. Giosa and Mr. Vorwald will lead performances of “Lift Every Voice and Sing”, “A Change is Gonna Come” by Sam Cooke and “Soul Man” by Benjamin Duterde. Ms. Akinyemi will also lead members of the 8th grade period 8 and 9 Spanish classes, 6th grade writing, period 2 Dance and the Badila family in the performance of Fanga, a classical African dance and royal family greeting with gift-giving and entertainment. #HudsonTogetherWeCan
