We are excited to share that Hudson Valley Community College’s Summer 2024 College-in-the High School (CIHS) registration will open Monday, April 29, 2024 @ 9 a.m.! As we approach this opening of registration, we would like to share key information to begin the process:
Summer CIHS Course Offerings
Ahead of Monday’s registration opening, you may view the courses that will be offered for Summer 2024 College in the High School students by visiting the Summer CIHS Courses Page. Here, you will be able to preview course offerings, review class descriptions, and note modalities for the courses offered.
The summer courses page also includes important resource information such as our Registration Calendar denoting key dates for summer courses, directions on how to register, and more.
Voyager Registration System
Beginning this summer term, students will complete registration through a new online registration system, Voyager*. Voyager will be the one-stop hub for all parts of the registration process including: registration requests, Certificate of Residence submission, obtaining HVCC credentials, and more. From there, your school guidance contacts will be able to review and approve the course requests.
While you are able to access the link to Voyager right now, the ability to submit an application for summer classes will not go live until Monday, April 29, 2024 @ 9 a.m. At that point, you will be able to review specific course sections, modalities of said courses, request enrollment. Should you have any questions about registering via Voyager, you can visit the Voyager Information Center for step-by-step guides on key steps in the enrollment process, along with answers to many Frequently Asked Questions.
*Note: the following special programs will not be using the Voyager system. If you are a student in one of these programs, please connect with your guidance office:

Scholarship for all CIHS Students
Once again this year, the college is awarding full-tuition scholarships for up to eight credits to all students in our College-in-the High School sections for Summer 2024. This means that all students will receive a scholarship to cover the cost of tuition (up to eight credits), plus free textbooks.
